Some conversations are still waiting to be had.

Topics like sexuality, intimacy, and dementia can feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar to talk about and that’s exactly why this support group matters.

These experiences are real, deeply human, and often carried quietly by individuals and families navigating dementia. When these conversations are avoided, people are left without guidance, reassurance, or support.

As cognition changes, so do needs, boundaries, communication, and connection. Without the right support, this can create confusion, discomfort, or distress for both individuals and families.

This June, we’ll be creating a gentle, respectful space to open that dialogue alongside Deanna Leippi, sex therapist, who will bring additional expertise and compassion to the discussion.
